Matsushita Shokai was established in 1965 as a manufacturer engaging in the processing of displays for POP, which is our first business.
Since then, we have expanded our business operations in manufacturing of the light guide panels for liquid crystal displays and the precise plastic processing products for backlight of liquid crystal display TVs which we started as our second business.
At present, we have been undertaking business activities including the development of environmentally-friendly products and the efforts for energy saving and reduction of CO2, as our third business and an important pillar of our business operations. Specifically, as the development of LED-related products, we have been engaging in the development of products using high-intensity and surface emitting LEDs and LED products for daily livings, and the production of the light guide panels for LED backlight developed for liquid crystal display TVs.
In addition, in order to create new products with energy-saving effects, we have been promoting development of products using the materials based on a highly strong substrate with excellent heat and weather resistance, which are most suitable for the application of guide light panels. Accordingly, all members of our company have been working together on the challenge of creating an environmentally-friendly society.
